Hyderabad Municipal Elections are underway and Tollywood celebrities in the city are casting their votes at their respective polling booths. It is very disappointing to see the voting percentage going on from the morning. Voter turnout was even worse in the educated and employed areas. But it is commendable that movie and business celebrities have shown their interest to vote in the early hours of the morning.
Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad cast his vote this morning along with his family members at Polling Booth No. 58 in KPHB Seventh Phase.
Rajendra Prasad, later, addressed the media and said that not voting in elections was a big crime. He called on the people of Hyderabad to exercise their voting right in the GHMC elections. He said he came to Hyderabad to cast his vote even though he was busy shooting in Araku.
The ace actor was heartbroken to see the polling station empty and called on the people of the city to exercise their voting right and become partners with the development of the city.
