Vijay Deverakonda Picked Up Allu Arjun's Story?

Update: 2021-08-05 08:23 GMT
It is not uncommon for top actors to pick up the stories and scripts that were previously prepared for some other actors. This trend is very much prevalent in the Telugu film industry as well. More often than not, top stars score blockbusters with scripts that were initially pitched to other actors and were rejected by them. Here is a similar incident that is catching the attention of Tollywood industry insiders.

Going into the story, Koratala Siva, who was supposed to work with Allu Arjun for AA21 took a detour upon Jr NTR's request. He is now working on NTR30, which will mark his second collaboration with Jr NTR after Janatha Garage. Koratala Siva took up NTR30 only after conveying his intention to Allu Arjun and receiving his green signal. The makers of Allu Arjun and Koratala Siva's AA21 had also announced that the project has not been shelved and it will start rolling in the near future after Allu Arjun and Koratala Siva turn available.

However, the latest reports suggest that AA21 has hit a roadblock. The reason behind it is that Koratala Siva narrated the story he had penned for AA21 to Vijay Deverakonda. The young actor liked the story very much and he agreed to star in the project. Koratala Siva has been eager to work with Vijay Deverakonda for a long time now and after impressing the latter with the story he had penned for AA21, he is raring to take the project onto the floors.

Koratala Siva had reportedly prepared a story with village backdrop for Allu Arjun's AA21and he took the same to Vijay Deverakonda. Vijay liked it and the project is all but locked. This might be Siva's immediate next project after NTR30. So, if Koratala Siva decides to work with Allu Arjun again in the near future, he will have to pick up some other story.

Coming to NTR30, the project is likely to hit the floors in a couple of months from now. NTR will apparently be slimming down for his role in the much awaited film. The makers are promoting NTR30 as a pan-India film.
