Loan frauds and identity theft incidents are not new and several such incidents were reported in the recent past. Forget about common people even celebrities were also not spared this. A celebrity had found herself as the victim of this as someone had used her id card to get a loan.
Bollywood actress Sunny Leone had shared her experience of being a victim of online fraud. She said that using her Pan number, a fraudster took a loan of Rs 2,000 and as a result, her CIBIL score got affected. "This just happened to me. INSANE. Some idiot used my Pan to take a 2000 RS loan and FCK'd my CIBIL score (SIC)" she tweeted.
While sharing her experience, Indiabulls Securities, SEBI registered stockbroker and depository did nothing in resolving the issue and even asked how come the consumer finance firm Indiabulls allowed the identity theft happen.
After she made the shocking revelation that she became the victim of online fraud, Sunny Leone announced that the issue has been resolved and used this opportunity to thank Indiabulls Security, Indiabulls HomeLoans, and credit information company TransUnion CIBIL for their swift reaction.
While thanking the three firms, Sunny Leone said that no one wants to have a bad Cibil score and also announced that her complaint has been withdrawn as the issue was addressed.
"Thank you @IVLSecurities @ibhomeloans @CIBIL_Official for swiftly fixing this & making sure it will NEVER happen again. I know you will take care of all the others who have issues to avoid this in the future. NO ONE WANTS TO DEAL WITH A BAD CIBIL !!! Im ref. to my previous post," Sunny Leone said in her tweet.
"As mentioned in the NEXT tweet, they have helped resolve the issue therefore i have removed the complaint," she said in another tweet
On the professional front, Sunny Leone has a few projects in her hand like Rangeela, Veeramadevi, and Shero. She was last seen in a stand-up-like project that was aired on Netflix. Titled One Mic Stand, the project had managed to get a good response from the viewers.
