Vijay is coming on October 25th with 'Bigil' (dubbed as 'Whistle' in Telugu) and Karthi is arriving on the same day with 'Khaidi'. Both these stars decided to lock horns with each other. Karthi is waiting for a good hit to get back on track while Vijay is the form of his career with back-to-back blockbusters. Also, 'Bigil' is from the super hit competition of Atlee and Vijay who gave super hits like 'Theri' and 'Mersal'.
But, Karthi gets the advantage in Telugu market because of his craze among youth and women. On the other hand, Vijay is slowly establishing himself here hits like 'Thupaki' and 'Adhirindi' but yet to reach Karthi's level.
