'Aha' Relying On Prime And Netflix For Viewership!

Update: 2020-07-27 06:57 GMT
Touted to be the first and the only Telugu OTT platform, 'Aha' hasn't been getting huge reception from the audience as per some analysts. Apart from coming up with original content, 'Aha' is releasing small films these days.

While many say that bringing big films may increase its viewership and subscriptions, 'Aha' team reportedly came up with a unique plan. They are relying on the hit films owned by big OTT platforms like Prime Video and Netflix. They are taking popular films from other languages like Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam which are already being streamed on these two platforms and dubbing them into Telugu for 'Aha'.

Recently, a Malayalam film 'Forensic' became a huge hit on Netflix and its Telugu version is coming up on 'Aha'. They did the same for Dulquer Salman's 'Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante', Jyothika's '36 Vayasulo' and Karthi's 'Khaidi' where their original versions are in other streaming sites while the Telugu version is on 'Aha'.

This seems to be a good idea but some experts say that many people might have watched the original versions with the aid of subtitles. We need to wait and see how this new plan from 'Aha' works out.
