Young Tiger NTR, who had tested positive for novel Coronavirus earlier this month is observing isolation as per the Covid guidelines. The Nandamuri scion will turn a year old on May 20.
Ahead of his birthday, NTR took to social media and urged his fans to skip his birthday celebrations given the Covid scare. Saying that the country is fighting a war with Covid-19, NTR appealed to his fans to skip the celebrations.
Jr. NTR took to microblogging site Twitter and issued a statement in Telugu and English languages separately to avoid birthday celebrations. He said he is going well now and he is hoping to test negative for the virus soon.
In the statement, NTR thanked his fans, who have been sending messages, videos, and wishes. He said he is indebted to his fans for the unconditional love he has been receiving.
"My dear fans, a big thank you to each and every one of you. I have seen your messages, your videos and your good wishes. Your prayers have kept me going and I am indebted to you all for this love. I am doing very good and I hope to test negative soon (sic)," the actor said in the statement.
"Our country is at war with Covid-19. Our medical community and frontline workers are waging a selfless and tireless war. Many people have lost their loved ones and livelihoods. This is not a time for celebration. This is a time for showing our solidarity with those in need (sic)," he observed.
The star urged his fans to wear masks and stay at home and take care of their family members and loved ones. He added that once the country wins the war against Covid, they shall celebrate.
"Please take care of your family and loved ones. Support each other and extend a helping hand to those in need. When all this over and the war on Covid-19 is won, we shall celebrate together. Wear a mask. Stay at home (sic)," the actor added.
