Ahead of RRR Release, Jakkanna Meets Jagan seeks his help!

Update: 2022-03-14 12:41 GMT
After multiple meetings between the Andhra Pradesh government and the Tollywood film industry, the industry heard a piece of good news ahead of the release of Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam. As promised earlier, special shows were permitted and the ticket pricing was also allowed in the revised GO on the regulation of ticket prices.

However, that was not enough given the high budget invested in the films. Taking Radhe Shyam as an example the cap on hiking the ticket price was imposed reportedly. This is not beneficial for the films given the scale the films are being made in Tollywood right now.

To see that such issues won't pop up, SS Rajamouli and DVV Danayya reached Andhra Pradesh to meet CM Jagan. The director and producer of the much-awaited Pan-India film headed to AP ahead of the film release.

Reports say that the meeting had been concluded just a while ago and they had requested CM Jagan to give special permission for the benefits. They also urged the government to help them so that the theatre industry and the exhibitors won't get affected.

During the meeting, Jagan reportedly responded in a positive way hinting that they might get a helping hand. AP Cinematography Minister Perni Nani was also present during the meeting. As the film release is just 10 days away, the makers are hoping that they hear the happy news from the government any time soon.
