Akkineni Akhil has been trying to score a proper hit at the box office. But even his recent outing 'Mr. Majnu' also ended up as a big is a disaster at the box office.
Akhil is currently doing a movie under the direction of Bommarillu Bhaskar. This untitled project is tentatively being called as #Akhil4. As per the latest reports, the hero is now going to join hands with director Ajay Bhupathi who became popular with the blockbuster of his debut film 'RX 100'. Ajay Bhupathi has written script called 'Maha Samudram' and has been struggling to get a lead actor onboard for that film. Initially, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Ravi Teja accepted to do the project but later backed out.
Finally, Bhavya banner came forward to bankroll this project. Rumors are rife that the movie is going to be a multi starrer film and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Akkineni Akhil will be seen playing the lead roles in the film. However, the official announcement is yet to be made.
