Bollywood star Akshay Kumar comments on film making process at the trailer launch of 'Houseful 3' triggered rumors about his fallout with Director Shankar.
Speaking at the film event, Akshay stressed the need to focus more on pre-production & post-production so that number of working days will be minimized. He informed 'Houseful 3' which has huge star cast was shot in just 38 days to say how cost of production would be reduced. He claims to have not understood why few filmmakers shoot for 300-odd days to wrap up a project.
Currently, Akshay Kumar is shooting for '2.0' which is being directed by Shankar. The number of working days of this project would cross 300-mark and hence a budget of Rs 350 crore was allotted. Almost all the films of Shankar have 100-plus working days and are high-budget ventures.
May be, Akshay Kumar who is used to completing projects in quick succession isn't happy with the working style of Shankar. Even the motion capture technology and extensive visual effects used for '2.0' is delaying the shoot.
