Now it's official. Director Shankar has finalized villain for his upcoming film Robot 2. Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar roped in to play the role of a villain in Rajinikanths Enthiran 2.Akshay is all set to make his Tamil debut with the film.
Shnakar initially tried to rope in Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the baddie in Robo 2 opposite Rajnikanth. Later he tried to get Hritik Roshan. Now Hrithik is unable to adjust his dates, Shankar roped in Akshay to play the villain. This will raise the profile of the film and will add star power to the film, feels Shankar. The director along with Rajinikanth and Rehman has met Akshay today and they even posed for cameras.
A.R. Rahman will compose the tunes and Srinivas Mohan will take care of the visual effects work in the film. Also starring Amy Jackson, who will reportedly be playing a robot, the film is being produced by Lyca Productions
