Akshay Kumar To Compete With Khan's For Festivals, Now!

Update: 2019-09-09 09:38 GMT
Akshay Kumar restrained from trying to compete with big Khan's of Bollywood for festival dates like Eid, Diwali and Christmas.

He has been consistent with his films at the box office and this year, both his films - Kesari, Mission Mangal crossed Rs. 150 crores and MM, turned out to be his biggest hit by going close to 188 crores Nett, if Saaho released a week later, it could have been his first 200 crores movie.

His next films are getting even bigger budgets and big studios in India like YRF and Dharma Productions are producing two biggies with him.

Sooryavanshi, his cop film with Rohit Shetty releases in March and his Laxxmi Bomb, remake of Kanchana will release for Eid and he booked Diwali 2020 for his Prithviraj, historical film based on life of Prithviraj Chauhan.

YRF is producing the film and Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha will release for Christmas. Even though Salman Khan did not confirm his next film for Eid, he promised to have a release.

Seems like Akshay Kumar after making his presence felt as a box office hero all this decade unlike Ajay Devgn, staying away from festivals, seems to have decided to go for big fish hunt, now.

Shah Rukh Khan is still waiting and the rumours are rife that he won't do a film till February 2020 and is just spending time discussing potential projects.

We wish Akshay Kumar, a very happy birthday and all the success, he deserves for the hard, smart work, he is putting into films. Hope he comes out of biopics and National events, social message movies for at least two years.
