Sankranthi 2020: Biggest Box Office Clash!

Update: 2019-10-12 15:21 GMT
Neither Mahesh Babu nor Allu Arjun are in a mood to compromise when it comes to the release dates of their feature films. Even before fans could forget about the episode related to 'Bharat Ane Nenu' and 'Naa Peru Surya', Yet another interesting development took place to raise the heat.

Allu Arjun was very particular about releasing 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' only after 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. That is the reason why January 12th (Sunday) was finalised as the release date instead of either January 10th or 11th. This move gave an impression that 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' might arrive one or two days in advance.

Much to everyone's surprise, Mahesh Babu decided to clash with Mega Hero directly by releasing his upcoming flick on January 12th itself. 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' hitting the screens on the same day is completely unexpected.

When two biggies clash, Film releasing first among the two takes the burden of all the expectations and such a situation eventually helps the second flick. This is why both Mahesh and Bunny decided to have a same day release rather than early outing. Let's only wish neither of them disappoints during the upcoming Pongal season.
