Until the last few days, the makers of Maharshi created a huge noise in the Telugu states with heavy promotions, multiple success meets and theatre tours. But once Mahesh Babu left for the vacation, everyone got relaxed and the buzz is no longer visible anywhere.
Even though there are no other big releases after Maharshi, people seem to be have lost interest in it as well. The collections have been dropped from the last few days. It is now confirmed that the film went into losses in Ceded and Overseas. It became a highly profitable venture only in Nizam area.
The makers have promoted that it has crossed Rs.85 crores share at the box office. The official numbers are still not yet released. But we hear that it has to collect a share of Rs. 10 crores to end up in profits. As it can run for two more weeks, we have to see whether it can cross the figure and become a big hit as Bharat Ane Nenu or not.
