The makers are hoping to complete the shoot by the end of September or early October so that they can stick to their initial 'Christmas' release plans. Allu Arjun plans to complete shooting for Pushpa: The Rise by this October and take a brief break and then start working on Icon. In all likelihood, Icon will be hitting the floors by the end of this year. Apparently, Allu Arjun has already asked the director of the project, Sriram Venu to start working on the pre-production. Likewise, the makers have commenced the pre-production works. They have even shortlisted a few names for the two female lead roles in the film. Pooja Hegde and Janhvi Kapoor are said to be in the pole position to bag these roles.
