Shatamanam Bhavati, Sankranthi blockbuster movie starring Sharwanand, Anupama Parameswaran, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha and many others as won a National Award for best regional film in Telugu. The movie talking about values missing these days in relationship between aging parents and career oriented children, worked big time during the festive time even though there were two other big movies.
Celebrating and congratulating the movie and it's team, producers arranged a function. For that Nani and Allu Arjun attended and they spoke high about the movie. Allu Arjun said, "Shatamanam Bhavati won a recognition for Telugu Cinema after the movies like Shankarabharanam and Geetanjali. This kind of recognition was only possible because of the story elements and script. I wish the producers lot more successes and we can say, after Bahubali it is Shatamanam Bhavati for Telugu Film Industry."

Any movie that can bring family audience to theatres and move old citizens which has become a rarity should be considered a great one. In my apartments, there used to be 90 year old men who used to meet everyday and one day, when he was sitting alone, I asked why so and he said, his friends haven't turned up as they wanted to watch Shatamanam Bhavati." Well, the movie seems to have inspired many actors as well.
