Film stars work so hard for earning money even their hard work is not visible to the outsiders. They attend the shoots in severe climatic conditions like Summer heat and Winter cold, they even attend the shoots in rains as well. They sweat it out in the gym daily for hours together to maintain fitness. So, it is obvious that they want to save their money when they are at the peaks of their career.
Saving money is fine but if they resort to cheap tricks, it will surely dent their image and they will land into troubles sometimes. Heroine Amala Paul landed in such trouble now. She has recently purchased a luxury car and she uses it in Kerala but she has registered the vehicle in Pondicherry to save the tax amount. She reportedly saved Rs.20 lakhs by registering the vehicle in the Union Territory like Pondicherry as the taxes are very less there. When the issue broke out in the media she tried to cover up that she rented a flat in Pondicherry and she has done no wrong.
Police started investigating the case on the charges of submitting fake documents(address proof etc.) for registering the vehicle in Pondicherry. They have served the notices to Amala Paul in this regard. Amala didn't attend the enquiry even after receiving notices. Her lawyer attended the enquiry and said that Amala is busy with her professional commitments. But the police officials are in no mood to go soft on Amala. They are saying that they will serve arrest warrant if required. It appears that Amala landed into trouble because of her greediness.
