Starring Malayalam Megastar Mammootty in the lead role, the movie Yatra has been performing well at the box-office in both the Telugu states now. The film released on last Friday and has crossed the mark of 5 crores share by the end of the first weekend.
As per the latest trending reports, the makers sealed the digital rights deal for almost 8 crores with Amazon Prime. This itself has covered half of the film's budget. The makers are expecting 50-60 lakhs for the Hindi dubbing rights of the movie. At the same time, the makers are still holding the discussions with different satellite channels for giving away the rights. All these amounts will help the film enter the profits zone.
The movie is doing well in some areas and the film might definitely enter into the profits. Unlike NTR Kathanayakudu, Yatra can be called a safe bet just because the film was made on a shoe-string budget.
Directed by Mahi V Raghav, the film is produced by Vijay and Sashi under 70mm Entertainments banner.
