Before the Bollywood debut, several doubts had raised on Ananya Panday, daughter of Chunky Panday, will be able to live up to the expectations of everyone and she will prove her acting skills. But with her debut in Punit Malhotra's Student of the year 2 co-starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, she was praised so much that the she bagged best debut award at various award shows.
Ever since her debut film, when asked about the topic of Nepotism, Ananya said that she agrees the star kids have an advantage as they have easier access to people from the industry. "But now that I've got that chance, it's unfair for me to waste it. I want to make my father proud," shared Ananya.
Ananya has a line-up of films, Khaali Peeli sharing screen with Ishaan Khatter, Fighter with Vijay Devarakonda, and will also be seen in Shakun Batra's untitled film alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone
