'Baahubali: The Conclusion' grossed Rs 1,500 crore Worldwide in 24 Days and emerged as the first Indian film to reach the landmark. Still, Bollywood Filmmaker Anil Sharma who delivered the blockbuster 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' in 2001 isn't pleased at all. Why is it so?

Anil Sharma: 'Gadar business stood at Rs 265 crore in 2011 when the ticket price was just Rs 25. According to current ticket rates, That revenue is equal to Rs 5,000 crore at present. Baahubali 2 managed just Rs 1,500 crore. So, The record of Gadar is still intact and Baahubali 2 hasn't broken any record'.

Why didn't Anil Sharma come up with similar analysis when the films of Bollywood Khans were projected as Highest Grossers in the past? Is it fair to say no records were broken just because ticket prices were hiked?

Hindi version of 'Baahubali 2' grossed Rs 478 crore in Domestic circuit by the end of 4th Weekend.
