Another Tollywood film postpones its release with Covid-19 scare

Young hero Teja Sajja tasted big success with his debut film as a lead hero with Zombie Reddy, Tollywood’s first Zombie film. However, he has to wait a few more days for the release of his second film.

Teja’s upcoming flick Ishq was supposed to hit the theatres on the 23rd of this month. But the release date has been postponed given the Covid-19 surge. Taking the alarming situation of the novel Coronavirus in the country, the makers have postponed the movie release.

It has to be noted that the night curfew came into effect in Telangana from today. Theatres in Andhra Pradesh are operating with 50 percent occupancy. These developments have also forced the makers to postpone the movie.

Ishq has joined the list of films like Natural Star Nani’s Tuck Jagadish and Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story that have postponed their release dates with the Coronavirus situations.

The romantic thriller Ishq was helmed by SS Raju, while noted production house Mega Super Good Films bankrolled it. The Wynk girl Priya Prakash Varrier is the leading lady in the film.
