I faced sexual harassment too - Anupama

These days, actresses are coming out to express their grief with #MeToo and growing awareness to the subject of harassment. Many young boys feel it is their right to act as they wish with girls and ladies as their say nothing or can't retaliate as confidently as a man. Women have started coming out in open to discuss such taboo elements and bring awareness now.

With the recent events like brutal rape videos going viral, there is a need for going boys learn it is not right to treat women with disrespect. Anupama Parameshwaran has come out to say what she faced in everyday life as a common girl and how she tried to protect herself. She said, "I see many young men trying to rush into a crowded bus and stand with the ladies even if they have been advised not to. They just look for means to touch them and I don't know what they get from that?"

She expressed her grief over the harassment saying, "When used to go to college people used to touch me unnecessarily, try to run their body parts and also grope women. I couldn't take it silent and always used to retaliate to such actions. It is cowardly to let these things go by and everyone should come out in open and have a rigjt discussion to stop his madness!"
