AP Govt Follows Telangana Govt For 'Acharya'!

Update: 2022-04-26 12:08 GMT
Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to entertain us in the weekend with his most-awaited social drama 'Acharya'. There are high expectations on this film and the makers have spent a lot on it. With Mahesh Babu's 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' arriving on 12th May and 'KGF – 2' still going strong, 'Acharya' needs to recover all its investment in the next 14 days.

As we know, the Telangana government issued GO saying that the theatre owners and distributors can increase the ticket prices accordingly. Also, they allowed the film to have 5 shows between 7 AM to 1 AM. These permissions will be applicable for the first seven days and things will return back to normalcy after that.

Following the Telangana government, the government of Andhra Pradesh granted permission to have a hike in ticket prices for not just seven days but 10 days. The officials allowed a Rs.50 hike on ticket prices though it doesn't match the 'Super-budget Film' rule applied by the government earlier. The filmmakers are happy with the decision taken by the AP officials.

Produced by Matinee Entertainments banner, Chiranjeevi's wife Surekha Konidela is presenting this film. Pooja Hegde will be romancing Charan in this movie. Mani Sharma is the music composer.

There are a lot of noted artists in this project which takes place in a fictional village named Dharmasthali. Written and directed by Koratala Siva, Thirunavikkarasu is the cinematographer while Navin Nooli is the editor. As we know, Ram Charan is playing a special role in this flick which is releasing on 29th April.
