Acting in Rajamouli's Baahubali was the toughest job for any actor and that too playing main lead roles was not an easy task for Prabhas and Rana. For Baahubali, the actors had gone through intense training and turned bulk to fit in the role.
In a recent interview, 'Bhallaladeva' Rana said that his upcoming film, Aranya is the toughest film he had ever shot.
"Cinema is a visual medium. Aranya is the toughest film I've shot, and this is coming from someone who has shot Baahubali 2. I had to bear the weight of the trunk of an elephant, on my shoulders. The trunk would easily weigh 160-170 kgs," Rana said.
He further added that each of these films allowed him to live a new experience and cinema can only provide this. The 35-year-old actor said that it was harder than what doing Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' had entailed.
Rana had to undergo intense training to shed 30kg of weight for the role in Aranya and he sported a thick beard in the film. The film will either release directly on OTT or head to theatres.
