Pranay Vanga, brother of Director Sandeep Vanga, is the Producer of path-breaking film 'Arjun Reddy'. Apparently, They both obtained Rs 4 crore loan to make this gutsy project. Entire production cost of this movie is anywhere around Rs 5 crore.
Leading Distributor Sunil Narang of Asian Films came forward to acquire the Theatrical Rights 'Arjun Reddy'. As part of the deal, Rs 4 crore advance has been offered for AP and Telangana regions. Sandeep Vanga cleared his debt using this advance. Post the release, Sunil Narang will first deduct Rs 4 crore from the profits and the rest of the amount will be shared on a 50-50 basis.
Similar strategy was followed for selling the rights of other Territories as well. Overseas Distributor Nirvana Cinemas paid Rs 50 lakhs as advance. After deducting the Rs 50 from profits, Rest of the amount will be equally shared by the Distributor and Producer.
