Superstar Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata is mid-way through the shoot. The unit is currently filming some talkie portion featuring Mahesh Babu and the rest of the lead cast. Keerthy Suresh recently flew to Hyderabad for Sarkaru Vaari Paata shoot and she is taking part in the same now The makers of the Mahesh Babu starrer are planning to wrap up the shoot at the earliest so that they can go ahead with their release plans. The film is all set to hit the silver screens across the world on 13th January. It is announced for Sankranthi release.

Coming to the topic, there were reports claiming that Tamil actor, Arjun would be playing the antagonist role in the film. It was heard that Arjun had signed the dotted line already and he would be joining the sets very soon. But things did not quite fall into place and Arjun had to opt-out of the project for undisclosed reasons. He is not a part of the project anymore. The makers had to act quickly and they have come up with an alternative plan. They have replaced Arjun with a noted Telugu character artist.

Apparently, the makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata have replaced Arjun with top-billed actor, Jagapathi Babu. The talented senior actor will be playing the character with negative shades in Sarkaru Vaari Paata. He has signed the agreement and will be joining the sets right from the next schedule. The confrontational scenes between Mahesh Babu and Jagapathi Babu will stand as a major highlight of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Interestingly enough, Samuthirakani, who recently shot to fame with his fine performance in Ravi Teja's Krack will be playing the other antagonist role in Mahesh's Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be locking horns with Pawan Kalyan - Rana Daggubati's Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake and Prabhas's Radhe Shyam next Sankranthi season. The Parasuram directorial is tipped to be a full-on action entertainer with an adequate dose of comedy. The first teaser of the film is set to be unveiled on 9th August, which marks Mahesh Babu's birthday. Mythri Movie Makers are funding the film.
