Avatar: Release Dates Announced For 4 Sequels

James Cameron directorial 'Avatar'(2009) was a sensational hit across the globe and it has won accolades from the audience as well as from the film critics.  James Cameron started planning two sequels to the 'Avatar' and he has been working on the sequels from then onwards.    But he has announced an year ago that he is going to make four sequels as the material and the content they have is enough to make 4 sequels.

James Cameron and production house Fox has announced the release dates for the four sequels recently.   

'Avatar 2' will release on December 18, 2020

'Avatar 3' will release on December 17, 2021

'Avatar 4' will release on December 20, 2024

'Avatar 5' will release on December 19, 2025

James Cameron has revaled that they are not just working on just Avatar 2 now.. that's the reason why Avatar 2 is not going to be released in 2018.  He said that the team is working on all the sequels simultaneously.

The genius filmmaker explained about the long time frame for making the sequels that “It’s not an unreasonable time frame if you think about it. It took us four-and-a-half years to make one movie and now we’re making four".  

Avatar cast includes Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang. The script penned by Cameron with Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and Shane Salerno.
