For this, the actors and the crew shot in water using special technology. The technology is so advanced that, it won't miss any details while filming the venture.
The performance capturing technology used by the makers for the sequel enables the makers to record even the small gestures and movements of the actors. However, the team had to face a lot of difficulties with the underwater shoot.
As per the daily, James Cameron will take us through the new world of Avatar as we get to see a new clan in the upcoming sequel which will hit the theatres in 2022. The shooting is currently going on in Pandora inside Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.
Even the actors went through special training on how to act underwater as it is their first such experience. To train them, professional underwater dancers and Gymnasters were roped in.
