Baahubali 2 run ends - Nightmare begins!

Generally, Film Industry gets benefitted when a movie collects beyond the market boundaries. New Releases have every possibility of taking advantage of markets created by an Industry Hit.

However, The phase post 'Baahubali 2' has been a nightmare for Overseas Buyers. Change in the revenue-sharing model has been a huge blow to the Exhibitors. Lack of revenues made the situation even worse. None of the films released post 'Baahubali 2' has set the cash registers ringing in USA. 'Rarandoi Veduka Chudam' ended as a flop in US. Even DJ wasn't able to earn $1 million so far.

Analysts say, Collections weren't appreciable because none of the films managed to achieve unanimous positive talk and even reviews were mostly negative. Hungama of Anti-Fans on social media & Piracy did play a role as well.

As the situation is unfavorable, Overseas Distributors are hesitant to buy rights of star-studded films for fancy prices. The situation is no different for Mahesh's 'Spyder' & #PK25!
