Bollywood Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh has drawn a comparison between biggest blockbusters in India. He listed out the Week 1 revenues of biggest earners with the title #AvengersEndGame vs Hindi Biggies...
1) Avengers: End Game Rs 260.40 crore
2) Baahubali 2 (Hindi) Rs 247 crore
3) Sultan Rs 229.16 crore
4) Tiger Zinda Hai Rs 206.04 crore
5) Sanju Rs 202.51 crore
6) Dangal Rs 197.54 crore
Baahubali Producer Shobu Yarlagadda found fault with the comparison drawn by Taran Adarsh. 'BB2 one language (predominantly North India) Vs all other films all languages Pan-India...I don't think this is a right comparison,' he opined.
The point raised by Shobu Yarlagadda makes sense. Taran Adarsh should have drawn comparison between Baahubali2 Hindi version with Avengers Hindi version instead of including all versions of the Hollywood flick.
