It has been twenty years since the release of Trivikram's 'Nuvve Nuvve'. This emotional family drama marked the directorial debut of the star writer-director. Tarun and Shriya played the lead roles while Prakash Raj was seen as the father of the heroine. The movie primarily revolves around these three characters and as a celebration of this beautiful film, it was screened in AMB cinemas on Monday.
It is one of the favourite movies for everyone and the comedy scenes and dialogues are still used in daily conversations and memes. After the screening, the team talked about their experiences of working with each other. As we know, Trivikram shares a great rapport with Prakash Raj who used to be a regular in his movies until 'S/o Satyamurthy'.
Speaking at the event, Trivikram said, "Many say that Prakash Raj is difficult to work with. But, I think he is afraid of me thinking I take something or the other whenever I visit his home. Sunil and I used to go to his home at midnight even before I became a writer. We used to ask him for food, take away liquor bottles and snatch his wristwatches. Prakash Raj tolerated us a lot."
He added, "I think he must have enjoyed the childish nature in us. It always used to surprise me why people banned him, considering his character." The 'Athadu' director expressed his gratitude towards producer 'Sravanti' Ravi Kishore who believed in him a lot during the early stages of his career. The entire team had a lot of memories attached to this evergreen movie and it was great to see them having a reunion together.
