Bala To Direct Arjun Reddy Remake

'Arjun Reddy' is referred as a classic by many, irrespective of the controversies surrounding the film. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been widely appreciated for his new-age filmmaking whereas Vijay Devarakonda is praised for his stunning performance in the role of Arjun Reddy.  'Arjun Reddy' is being remade into several other languages including Tamil.

It has already been reported that Chiyaan Vikram is launching his son Dhruv as a hero with 'Arjun Reddy' Tamil remake.  The latest reports from the Kollywood reveal that National Award winning director Bala is going to direct the remake.   It is known that Bala is known for critically acclaimed Tamil films like 'Sethu'.. 'Pithamagan'.. 'Naan Kadavul' and most of his films have been dubbed into Telugu.  In fact, it is Bala who gave the first break to Vikram with 'Sethu'.  On the other hand, Vikram has won best actor at the National Award for Bala directorial 'Pithamagan'.  This is the first remake for Bala in his career.

The movie will be bankrolled by E4 Entertainments and the movie will hit the sets from next year.  Meanwhile, Dhruv is preparing for the role and he is undergoing the training.  We have to wait and see whether Dhruv can match Vijay Devarakonda's brilliant performance or not.
