It is known that Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv Vikram made his debut in Kollywood with 'Arjun Reddy' remake. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's assistant directed the Tamil remake 'Aditya Varma' and it became a good hit. The critics as well as the audience liked the youngster's performance.
But this remake was first canned under the direction of renowned filmmaker Bala. Titled as 'Varmaa', the film's teaser was trolled a lot of when it released. Not satisfied by the output, Vikram replaced Bala with Gireesayya and shot the entire film once again. Months after the second version became a box-office, director Bala decided to release his version on an OTT platform.
'Varmaa' which released recently instantly became a meme material and people are trolling it heavily. It is trending on the internet and the audience are even praising Vikram for his accurate judgment and are funnily claiming that he needs to get 'Father Of the Year' award for not accepting Bala's version. Bala's eccentric filmmaking is badly criticised and it is no wonder that Vikram decided to make the film from scratch altogether.
