During the 90's and early 2000s, rain songs used to be a common thing in Telugu films. Hero and heroine having a romantic and hot rain song were a mandatory those days. With the change in trends and tastes, the rain songs have slowly vanished from Tollywood. The last time we saw such a song was in 'Rachcha' which was a remake of a song from Chiranjeevi's 90's blockbuster 'Gang Leader'.
Senior hero Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to bring back that trend once again for his next film directed by Boyapati Sreenu. This mass hero who is in the industry from the past 30-35 years decided to include a rain song in his film and interestingly, the song is going to be a remix of his 'Swathilo Muthyamantha' song from 'Bangaru Bullodu' which was released in 1993.
Thaman came up with this remix of Raj-Koti's hit number and Balayya readily agreed to it. This song is expected to filmed between Balakrishna and Anjali in a specially designed set as per sources.
