Countries like UAE and Pakistan are known for their hardcore Islamic rhetoric and they ban films that are against their religious spirit. After banning the release of Telugu film Gopala Gopala due to its preaching of Hinduism, Dubai Censor Board has now banned a Bollywood film.

Featuring Genelia's husband Ritesh Deshmukh in the lead role, "Bangistan" is the next Friday release in India, which is now banned by UAE. The film, which was mostly shot in Poland and Ladakh, is about two suicide bombers, Hafeez Bin Ali Ishwarchand Sharma (Riteish) and Allah Rakha Khan Praveen Chaturvedi (Pulkit). Trailer of the film has won immense craze already.

However, the producers are allowed to send the flick to revising committee in the UAE.
