Actor-turned-politician, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan made a comeback into films with Vakeel Saab and is on a spree of making films now. His recent film Bheemla Nayak had hit the theatres earlier last week. The action entertainer has received good reviews and is having a good run at the box office.
However, Bheemla Nayak had to face the impact of the movie ticket prices regulation issue yet again after Vakee;l Saab. The government had issued strict orders saying that no special shows will be permitted for Bheemla Nayak and a cap was also issued for the ticket prices and the theatres were asked to sell the ticket for the fixed prices.
As if it was not enough, Bheemla Nayak found itself in the middle of the controversy. A case has been reportedly filed against the film saying that a scene had hurt the sentiments of a community. In the complaint, the complainants have said that the scene is objectionable and it has to be removed.
According to the information, during the climax scene, Rana Daggubati goes all guns open to attack Pawan Kalyan. During the fight, he kicks a pottery wheel. The scene did not go well with the Kummari community members. Raising a few objections on the scene, they approached the cops.
Saying that the pottery wheel is holy for them and Rana destroying it had hurt their sentiments, a few members of the Kummari community have complained with the Guntur Urban Superintendent of Police. Leaders of the community have walked into the Police Station and complained. They have one demand, which is to remove the objectionable scene.
However, there is no update on what the makers have to say on this. We have to wait and see what they will do now. Will they ignore the complaint or remove the particular, no one knows.
Bheemla Nayak is striking gold at the box office. The positive talk started with the US Premieres has been continuing and the film is doing good business, Except for Andhra Pradesh, Bheemla Nayak managed to turn profitable in many areas. Bheemla Nayak also stars Rana Daggubati.
