Big B Amitabh Bachchan and actress Taapsee Pannu were invited to a special show of 'PINK', which followed by a dinner on Saturday night with The President Pranab Mukharjee. It is known that Amitabh and Taapsee played key roles in the critically acclaimed Bollywood film Pink. Sharing this news on blogpost, Mr. Bachchan wrote that "President Pranab Mukharjee watches our film 'PINK' on Saturday night in Delhi." He also added that "President has always been most generous with his time and desire to accommodate the creative elements of cinema, and we can not thank enough for it".
On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu tweeted through her twitter account that "Guess who has movie and dinner plans with The Honourable President today ?" It is obvious that she is going to have a great time at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday.
'PINK' is a court room drama which highlights the societal descrimination against women. Amitabh Bachchan played the role of a retired advocate, who takes up the case and fights for the justice of the women in the film. Released in September 2016, the film turned out to be a success at the box office and received critical acclaim for the social message.
