Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh, who worked with Amitabh Bachchan in "Aladin", says he will definitely work with the megastar in "Kahaani 2", a sequel to his successful 2012 thriller "Khahaani".
Ghosh told IANS: "Yes, I can assure you that Amitabh Bachchan will be part of 'Kahaani 2' in some way or the other. His blessings matter a lot to me. I can't see myself making any films without him."
Big B had lent his voice for the song "Ekla chalo re" in "Kahaani".
The director says he will roll the camera as soon as the script is locked.
Talking about shooting, he said, "In a month's time... I am still scripting the film so I can't say exactly when I will start shooting. The story will be a continuation from where we have left 'Kahaani'."
He assures this time Vidya, who played the protagonist in "Kahaani" to the hilt, will be seen in an action avatar.
"Yes, I am planning to make her do some action sequence in 'Kahaani 2' but let's see how things shape up. It's going to be challenging for me to prove myself again, but I am not thinking about that at all. I am just hoping for the best," said Ghosh.
Ghosh made "Kahaani" at a shoestring budget of Rs.8 crore and thanks to the overwhelming response, it changed the director and the producer's fortune by grossing Rs.80 crore at the box office.
If Vidya Balan was lauded for her stupendous performance in "Kahaani", she was aptly supported by the performances of Parambrata Chatterjee and Nawazuddin Siddique.
