Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' directed by Surender Reddy is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies in Tollywood. The expectations have been very high in this period drama.
Despite having high expectations the movie is still struggling to beat the record set by Rajnikanth's '2.O'. The theatrical business of 'Sye Raa' is going on pretty well and the makers are busy locking the deals for massive amounts. But on the other hand, the satellite and digital rights of the film are not making that big. Rajinikanth's '2.0' movie was sold for 110 crores. Now, 'Sye Raa' is planning to break this record or at least get the same amount for the satellite and digital rights. But it becomes tough for them to lock the deals. The movie features star cast like Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep Kiccha, Tamannah etc but some are commenting that the movie is still not getting the pan-Indian appeal and on the other hand, Chiranjeevi doesn't have a big fan base in Bollywood when compared to Rajinikanth
