Biopic on Satyam Ramalinga Raju?

This is the time of biopics. While films are being made on legends, some enterprising and cheeky persons are making films on rowdysheeters, goons and questionable figures. The latest is Rangu, which is based on Vijayawada's rowdysheeter Lara. Now, the buzz is that a biopic would soon be made on infamous Satyam Ramalingaraju, who was responsible for 1.5 billion dollar Satyam scam. Yes. Satyam  scam, which shook both India and the world, would soon be a film and DAR Motion pictures is making this film. According to sources, the film will expose white collar crimes in the society. Vivek Rangachary of the DAR Motion Pictures says that this film will unravel many unknown and little known aspects  of the scam. The script of the film has been written by  Subbu Peteti.

It may be recalled that Satyam scam of 2009 has led to the merger of Satyam Computers into Mahindra to become Tech Mahindra. Further details about the cast and crew of the film will be announced later.  Interestingly, controversial director Ram Gopal varma wanted to make a biopic of Ramalinga Raju way back in 2011. But the project was shelved due to unknown reasons.
