Sushanth Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer, Magadheera, oops Raabta has landed itself into controversy with producer Allu Aravind after the freemake claims. Before release, both the warring producers settled the matter out of court.
Movie, released this Friday, with good hype and publicity as the controversy and also the alleged relationship rumours of Kriti Sanon and Sushanth got maximum coverage. Even though the movie looked a freemake of Magadheera everyone thought this could not be as good as the original and the critics have proved the same. According to them, the movie shouldn't have been made and it's really a waste of money more than anything.
They panned the story, screenplay and only bright spot they found is the lead pair's chemistry in the starting 20 to 30 minutes of the film. Some called it a Hollywood 'B' -movie and expressed their sympathies for Rajkumar Rao, who played an aged person in the movie. Some mentioned Magadheera and said even equating and looking at this movie anywhere close to Magadheera is a big insult for the original classic.
