Bollywood's Heartthrob Rishi Kapoor Passes Away At 67!

Senior Bollywood hero Rishi Kapoor who stole the hearts of 70's youth with his unmatchable charm passes away at the age of 67. Son of legendary actor Raj Kapoor and father of Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor lost to cancer after a two-year long battle. He was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday due to severe health issues and the veteran actor breathed his last today leaving his dear ones in tears.

Amitabh Bachchan was the first to tweet about it. He wrote, "He's GONE...! Rishi Kapoor...gone....just passed away...I am destroyed !" The entire Bollywood is in disbelief over this unfortunate news. A lot of celebrities are expressing their condolences via social media while his wife Neetu Singh and son Ranbir Kapoor stayed by his side during his last minutes.

Rishi Kapoor is known for his super hit films like 'Bobby', 'Chandini', 'Amar Akbar Anthony', and many others. He played supporting roles in movies like 'Housefull 2', 'Kapoor & Sons', 'Mulk', '102 Not Out' and many others.

Akshay Kumar tweeted, "It seems like we're in the midst of a nightmare...just heard the depressing news of #RishiKapoor ji passing away, it's heartbreaking. He was a legend, a great co-star and a good friend of the family. My thoughts and prayers with his family."

Bollywood is having one of its biggest nightmares as they heard the news of Irrfan Khan's demise yesterday and the news of Rishi Kapoor's death has hit them quite early in the morning.
