Trailer Talk: Meet Shiva, the Saviour of World From Dark Forces

The Ranbir starrer Brahmastra is undoubtedly one of the much-awaited films. Movie lovers and fans have been eagerly waiting for the film to hit the theatres. The magnum opus is planned as a franchise and it will be released in parts. Part one of the franchise is titled Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva. The movie has a stellar cast.

After teasing fans with posters and teasers, the makers have finally unveiled the trailer which looks straight out of a fairy tale. The trailer is high on grand visuals complemented by breathtaking VFX. With the trailer, the makers gave a hint that Brahmastra is going to offer a visual wonder on the silver screen.

The trailer which was released just a while ago says that the story is an amalgamation of the five elements of nature and the Astras we studied in the epics. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer aims at bringing the Amar Chitra Katha stories to screen. Ranbir Kapoor's role is loosely based on the character of Lord Hanuman who is immune to fire.

Director Ayan Mukerji roped in a stellar cast who played key roles in the magnum opus. Ranbir Kapoor plays a DJ in this film who gets to know about good and bad elements on earth which have been living here for a very long time and the fight between them.

After realizing that he is immune to fire and there are Astras that possess so much power and the bad elements are after the mighty Brahmastra, Shiva realizes how he and the Astras are correlated. How he embarks on a risky journey as a savior and how he takes on the bad elements form the crux of the story.

Besides stunning visuals, the trailer also shows Ranbir's Charm and the sizzling chemistry of newlywed Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who are doing a film together for the first time. Besides legendary Amitabh Bachchan, the film also stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. Mouni Roy is playing the leader of evil forces in the magnum opus. It is said that the film is made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crores.
