Brahmotsavam dominates Two Big Hits

Revenues of 'Brahmotsavam' mayn't be satisfactory in almost all the territories due to the ultra-high theatrical rights. But, It is still the No.1 grosser among new releases in cities like Bengaluru.

'Brahmotsavam' Collections for Karnataka during 1st Weekend: Gross is close to Rs 6 crore & Share is over Rs 3 crore-mark. Especially, It is far ahead of other new releases in the State Capital.

Hollywood biggie 'X Men Apocalypse' stood at the second spot. 'U-Turn', an intelligent Kannada thriller, settled down at 3rd place. This is the film Samantha is going to sign for the Telugu-Tamil versions. Whereas, Aishwarya Rai's 'Sarbjit' and Kannada flick 'Thithi' managed to be at 4th and 5th spots. Already, 'X Men Apocalypse' & 'U-Turn' were declared as big hits based on investment & returns.

Even though the collections weren't sufficient to recover the investment, At least Mahesh Fans would feel happy that 'Brahmotsavam' is still standing tall despite all the negativity.
