After the humongous success of 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo', Allu Arjun planned to go even bigger with his next and joined hands with Sukumar for a rustic rural drama titled 'Pushpa'. The film was planned as a pan-Indian project which would release in five languages. Sukumar did a lot of pre-production work and decided to make it on a huge scale.

But the virus outbreak put a hold on the film's shooting and nobody knows when the theatres will open. So, the makers are trying to control the budget and decided to rework on the costs. Sources say that 'Pushpa' will go through some budget cuts and it will not be as grand as it was intended to. Sukumar is known to spend huge money on his films and we need to see how he handles this tough situation.

Mythri Movie Makers are producing this film and Vijay Sethupathi is doing an important role while Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as the heroine. Allu Arjun will be seen as a lorry driver who illegally smuggles red sanders from Nallamala forests in this movie.
