Can 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' Reach Breakeven With Premiers?

Update: 2022-04-26 08:40 GMT
Superstar Mahesh Babu is considered the undisputed king of the overseas market till a few years back. He was first hero to open the doors of the US market and he was the one to cross one million dollars of collection for a Telugu film in overseas. His movie was the first to reach the 2 million mark too and even his flop films crossed a million or two easily which speaks volumes about his craze.

Over the past few years, other heroes too caught up with him and their films are getting huge collections. Also, Rajamouli's films started to top every list which dethroned Mahesh from his No. 1 spot. Nonetheless, Mahesh Babu still has a huge craze at the overseas market and he does not need a high budget or a big director to get huge collections there. He is a brand that brings the overseas audience towards the theatres.

He is all set to arrive on 12th May with 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata'. The advance bookings in the overseas arena have already opened and news suggests that the distributors are planning to make full use of Mahesh's stardom and appeal. Apparently, they are looking to reach the breakeven mark through the premiers itself. As per reports, they are hoping to escape the losses if the film doesn't reach the expectations.

It has been more than two years since the release of a Mahesh film and everyone is eagerly waiting for this wholesome entertainer. The songs and teaser have generated a very good buzz and the trailer which is going to release soon is expected to double the expectations. With all the hype, they are planning to recover the investment through premiers so that everything after that will be profits for the buyers.

'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' is helmed by Parasuram and it has completed all the production formalities. The post-production formalities are also happening at a brisk pace. Naveen Yerneni, Y.
