Can Agnyaathavaasi Beat Baahubali 2?

Update: 2018-01-07 06:59 GMT
When 'Baahubali: The Beginning' released in 2015, People expected the records set by the magnum opus to last for so long. Whereas, Most of the records were broken by Sankranthi 2017 itself. 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' managed to set many records with the Summer release. The whole country was surprised with the revenue generated by this war drama. At least, These records will remain untouched for few years or not is a million dollar question.

None other than Pawan Kalyan is posing a huge threat to 'Baahubali 2' records with 'Agnyaathavaasi'. Even his disasters (Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Katamarayudu) managed to collect a share of around Rs 60 crore each. Imagine what's gonna be the impact when he teams up with an ace director like Trivikram. That too 'Agnyaathavaasi' is the next film in this deadly combination after an Industry hit (Attarintiki Daredi).

Expectations are pretty high on 'Agnyaathavaasi' since the day it was launched. Audio and Promos looked very promising. People are really in a mood to watch a good movie during Sankranthi season. While Holidays give an added advantage, AP Government granted permission for late night shows and Telangana Government is likely to give its nod soon. Based on all these factors, Trade Circles were expecting the 2 Days share to be not less than Rs 70-80 crore. If the mouth talk is positive, Opening records of 'Baahubali 2' Telugu version can be wiped out and a share of Rs 150 crore is gettable. Even the full run share in few territories could be crossed in such a scenario to set non-Baahubali record.
