Mega Power Star Ram Charan⦠The youngster who entered Tollywood as Megastar's son but turned out to be a star hero who creates records on his own today. He is a hero who has the capacity to collect humongous numbers at the box-office. Charan who made a decent debut with 'Chirutha' proved his potential and caliber with 'Magadheera'. This film was a sensation and took him and Rajamouli to a whole new level. Not to mention it was just his second film. He then opted to follow it with an experiment like 'Orange' which backfired. Though Charan's acting was appreciated, the film was a cost failure. Nonetheless, it received a cult status after it came on to the small screen.
He then started to churn out mass entertainers like 'Racha' and 'Nayak' with which he scored blockbusters. But these films made a set of audience upset and even some of his fans were upset over the fact that he was turning into a routine mass hero. To break the mold, he did a family entertainer like 'Govindhudu Andarivaadele' and the film's result wasn't satisfactory despite Charan scoring brownie points.
After a few setbacks, he chose a concept-based movie like 'Dhruva', a Tamil remake. Ram Charan's efforts were lauded and the film went on to become a good hit. But it was 'Rangasthalam' that brought out an unseen side of him and turned his career. His portrayal of a deaf 'Chittibabu' in the film was tremendous and Charan gave an award-worthy performance in this flick. 'Rangasthalam' was an industry hit and it collected around 200 crores.
Currently, he joined hands with SS Rajamouli once again and is working on a pan-Indian film titled 'RRR'. He is going to be seen as the freedom fighter Alluri Seetharamaraju. This film will be hitting the screens in 2021 and Charan will rise up to the nation-level after this movie. The title logo and motion poster made his fans very excited and they are eager to watch this film on the silver screen. Despite being Megastar's son, Charan faced his own hurdles and became Mega Power Star and he deserves an appreciation for that. Tupaki wishes Ram Charan a very happy and safe birthday.
