Kollywood hero Karthi has a decent market in Tollywood as well. His previous movie 'Khakhi' succeeded in impressing the Telugu audience. But, his latest release 'Chinna Babu' failed to recreate the same magic. Tamil movie 'Kadaikutty Singham' is released as 'Chinna Babu' in Tollywood. The movie does not have enough hype among the audience which became the main reason behind poor openings of the movie.
However, the situation is entirely different in Kollywood as the film is creating sensations at the box office. After 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' and 'Kabali', 'Kadaikutty Singham' became the movie to get the highest collections. As the movie runs with a rural backdrop, the Tamil audience connected well with the film.
But the overdose of Tamil nativity failed to click well with the Telugu movie lovers. The trade analysts are already predicting that the movie will become one of the highest grossers in Kaar
