Update: 2017-03-16 07:01 GMT
Mega producer Allu Aravind is following the tradition of conferring Allu Ramalingaiah Awards every year.  Allu Ramalingaiah Award function conducted in Ravindra Bharathi this year also.. and Megastar Chiranjeevi also attended the function.  Not only this.. Megastar played Lord Shiva role in the drama played in the event.

While speaking on the occasion Chiru said that "Allu Aravind is doing service to Drama field through Allu Academy of Arts. We have to appreciate the effort of paying tributes to Allu Ramalingaiah garu through this.  'Srinatha Kavi Sarvabhauma' drama was wonderful today.  By adopting the latest technology.. exhibiting the sets on LED screens.. the drama was really good.  I felt how could they remember so many poems for the duration of two hours. For us.. we remember a dialogue only for five minutes.. they will say 'cut'. They will train us on second dailogue".

"These artistes have great dedication.  They have commitment towards their profession.  I felt that.. where do we stand if we compare with them.  We are fortunate to felicitate the persons like Gummadi Gopala Krishna.  I really felt proud when they said that they are my fans.  I convey my best wishes on behalf of Allu Academy of Arts to..Gummadi Gopala Krishna garu..and other technicians".

On the other hand, organizers have thanked Megastar Chiranjeevi for playing Lord Shiva role in their drama.  It is interesting to note that Megastar Chiranjeevi played the role of Lord Shiva for once again in this drama, after 'Apadbhandhavudu'.. 'Sri Manjunatha' films.
