Update: 2022-01-13 11:35 GMT
As a shot in the arm for the efforts made by the Tollywood industry to sort out the sensitive movie ticket prices issue, veteran hero, the Megastar of Telugu Cinema Chiranjeevi reached Amaravati from Hyderabad earlier today for a key meeting in this matter. The meeting between him and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attracted a lot of attention.

The meeting between the duo had concluded just now and after the meeting, Megastar Chiranjeevi spoke to the media to share the details of the meeting. Chiranjeevi said that he is happy with the way the meeting happened.

Thanking the Chief Minister for calling him for a meeting and inviting him in the issue, Chiranjeevi expressed his confidence that a positive outcome might come in the matter, given the way CM Jagan responded to the issue.

Megastar Chiranjeevi said that the way he was invited by the Chief Minister for the meeting felt like a big responsibility. "I am hoping that the issue gets addressed and the full stop for the issue comes with the meeting. I have represented a few concerns to the Chief Minister and a few points mentioned by him were written down by the Chief Minister," Chiranjeevi said.

Thanking the Chief Minister for making quality efforts to sort out the issue, Megastar Chiranjeevi said that CM Jagan’s words gave him the assurance that something good is going to happen and the government is working on doing something good for the industry.

“The Chief Minister gave me an assurance that he will not be biased to one side and he will see everyone equally. Assuring not to be afraid, he told me that the government will come with a piece of good news for the industry and the decision will be implemented as the Government Order if it is ok for everyone,” Chiranjeevi said.

Megastar Chiranjeevi said that he is hopeful of expecting a positive Government Order over the sensitive issue in a few weeks.

It has to be noted that, a few days ago director Ram Gopal Varma met Perni Nani over the issue and said that he attended the meeting, not as a representative of the film industry.
